Clyde’s Revenge

Clyde’s Revenge

By Moonlite Software (1995)

Clyde’s revenge is a very chilled and smooth side scrolling arcade adventure game. The game features quality sound and has very decent graphics. The game is set in dark and deadly castles where you’re in search of lost and hidden treasure.

This game involves solving relatively simple puzzles and you won’t need to worry about any enemies as they don’t exist in the game so all you have to do is concentrate on working out the puzzle so you can complete the level.

Clyde’s Revenge Gameplay

The gameplay in Clyde’s Revenge is relatively simple and you won’t find it very hard to get use to the game mechanics in the world. In order to walk around and interact with the world you are able to use the usual key bindings in most side scrollers. This involves using the arrow keys such as ctrl to use your wand and alt to jump.

The game world consists of blocks some of these are just barriers what you can’t alter or move. Others you can remove use and is vital for you to able to solve a certain puzzle.  Just because the world doesn’t have enemies doesn’t mean it is missing things that can still harm you. Environmental hazards such as spikes, lava pits and much more will hinder your progress and may add a whole new level of difficulty to the puzzle you’re trying to complete.

The gameplay is amazingly addictive thanks to the chilled nature of the game you will probably find this game is a lot more relaxing than most out there. There is an abundant amount of tricks and surprises all throughout the game making it compelling to keep playing.

Overall if you love puzzle games then I strongly suggest you take a look at playing a few hours of this game as you will probably find it very good. The games graphics and sound is above par and if you still enjoy playing flash games then you will have no problem with this game. The game play like most DOS games is again very enjoyable and well worth taking a look at.
