Diamonds
By C & L Software (1994)
Diamonds is quite an interesting puzzle game where you will need to guide your ball around levels. This sounds relatively easy but the difficulty starts to pick up and even better it is actually quite fun to play.
If you love playing puzzle games then you will probably find this one really enjoyable there is even a bit of a back story in the manual if you wanted to read it. Apart from all that you should certainly give this game a try.
Diamonds Gameplay
The overall object of each level is to get all the diamond squares that are scattered across the level. In order to get these you will need to get rid of all the blue, green, red and cyan, colored squares. All you need to do to get rid of that square is touch the key of that colour then you can simply remove them by touching them.
Cyan has no key so you will need make sure you get rid of all these squares first. To tell easily what colour you are working on all you need to do is look at the outside edge of the playing field.
Your marble or ball is always bouncing up and down and sometimes off of things. You will only be able to control it to go either left or right.
There are other types of blocks that you should take notice of such as the lock boxes these will need you to have a skeleton key to be able to unlock these boxes. The death box will cause you to lose one life from touching it so that is another box that you should really be wary of touching.
Summary
Diamonds as I mentioned above is quite a decent game and has many qualities to it that you might enjoy. The graphics are obviously very dated but if you love puzzle games I doubt that is going to play a major factor anyway.
