Hera – Sword of Rhin is a very old school RPG that resembles the old Ultima games. There is a lot of keyboard commands to use in the game but luckily you can hit “F1” whenever you need help on remembering what certain keys do what.

If you love RPG games then you will probably enjoy this game however you do need a fair bit of patience. The game like must RPGs have a bit of depth to it and can be fun to play.

Hera – Sword of Rhin Gameplay

The game is simple in terms of fighting that involves hitting a button or a combination of buttons till either you or your enemy dies which can take some time.

In the game you will probably need to learn the huge amount of different things you can do and what keys will allow you use that action. You are able to do stuff like attack(A), board ships(B), Fire(F), Inventory(I) and many more. I’ll leave you to learn the rest of the controls.

The game does feature a lot of common RPG features such as an inventory. There is some kind of story to the game but it doesn’t really let you know much about what is going on.

Summary

Overall Hera – Sword of Rhin is a very decent game with a deep RPG feeling to it makes it a worthy title for any RPG fan. The gameplay is a bit shallow but the RPG features do make up for that. The graphics in the game are very basic but still look very good for its age. Still a worthy game for any RPG fan.
